Hike AND Paddle with Naturally Outdoors in Addington Highlands

It's hard to believe that the next time our little group gets together it will be October! There's definitely a feeling of fall in the air, and the leaves are beginning to show their colours, especially up north.

We hope you can join us for another double-dip day with Naturally Outdoors on Saturday, October 1st. We'll be paddling Deerock Lake at 10am (one of the most beautiful places in L&A) and hiking the Shield Trail at Bon Echo Provincial Park at 2pm (another one of the most beautiful places in L&A).

For those of you that haven't been to Deerock Lake, you're in for a real treat. If we're lucky, we'll be paddling this lake during the height of the fall colours. If you love paddling as much as we do, we recommend you make this an annual stop on your paddling list. Take a look at the photos in this blog... if we're lucky it could look this amazing!

Bon Echo is a real local gem, no matter how many times we visit we're still in awe of its beauty. There's an $18 fee per vehicle to enter, so load up all your friends/family and let's get a big crowd out for the hike.

After this weekend we only have two events remaining in 2022. We're hiking the Cataraqui Trail in Newburgh on October 8th at 2pm. Our final event of the year is a paddle of the Napanee River at Centre Street on October 15th at 2pm. Is it a coincidence that the Waterfront River Pub is right next to the launch? We think not.
