Fall is officially here, which means prime hiking season is also here!
We hope you can join us on Saturday, September 24th for a lovely hike of the Cataraqui Trail. We're departing from Yarker towards Camden East (to Curl Road) and back. It's about 6km total. We'll be leaving at 2pm sharp from the L&A Ridge Runner's Clubhouse parking lot.
As mentioned, it's the perfect time of the year to be outside. The air is crisp, the bugs are gone, and the views get more beautiful with each passing day. We may be in the early stages of the fall colour tour but we're sure we'll see at least a few changing leaves.
After this event, we'll only have a handful of events left. We have a couple special ones on the schedule though... including another doubleheader. On Saturday, October 1st you can join us in Addington Highlands during the prime colour season. You'll love paddling Deerock Lake (it's absolutely amazing) in the morning. You'll also love hiking at Bon Echo Provincial Park in the afternoon.
Another cool event is something a little quirky, but fun nonetheless! On Saturday, October 8th at 7pm we're giving a 'Light up the Night' paddle event in Napanee. Decorate your canoe or kayak with lights and join us for a little paddle of the river. More details on that soon.
It's been an amazing year. Let's keep it going!
