Naturally Outdoors is hitting the trail again! We hope you can join us on Thursday, June 30th at 6:30pm as we visit the Cataraqui Trail for a stroll of this wonderful old rail trail.
We're departing from the parking area just east of Newburgh on County Road 17, or if you're ultra familiar with the old village (as Rob is), where "Halloween Bridge" used to be.
As it's an old rail trail, there's not much elevation. However, the views are amazing, as you can view various sections of the Napanee River, farm fields and unspoiled nature. We're not sure how far we'll get, but plan for 45 minutes to an hour in each direction. It'll depend on how hot it is, the veracity of the bugs and the general feelings of those in attendance.
We're keeping our hiking direction a surprise... will we go east toward Camden East, or west toward Strathcona? Find out with us Thursday! (insert mysterious cliffhanger music).
You can find out more about the Cataraqui Trail here. Hope you can join us for a fun evening!
