Join us at Sheffield CA on July 14th at 6:30pm

It's hard to believe it's mid-July already and we're already on up to our 6th hike of the season. On Thursday, July 14th at 6:30pm, we'll be at Sheffield Conservation Area, in our opinion one of the nicest conservation areas you'll find anywhere.

We'll be gathering at the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area parking lot, located at 7980 County Road 41. It's a pretty nice spot in it's own right.

The 4.5km hike of Sheffield CA isn't a leisurely stroll, as there's quite a bit of up and down as you climb along some granite. It's definitely worth the sweat though, as the views are beautiful as you become up close with undisturbed nature.

Be sure to wear appropriate footwear, bring lots of water and by the sounds of things the bugs will be a little thick, so lather up in some repellent if you're susceptible to getting bitten.

We hope to finish this hike in about 90 minutes so we're wrapped up before nightfall. The night sky views are fantastic n' all, but we don't want to be caught out on the trail after dark.

Our schedule until the end of August is now posted so please take a look, hopefully we'll continue to get great attendance for our summer hikes and paddles.

Looking forward to seeing you on the trail on Thursday!
