Our First Paddle of 2023 is on May 4th

The first event of the 2023 season will soon be here! Join us with your canoe, kayak or SUP for a leisurely paddle of the Napanee River on Thursday, May 4th at the King Street Boat Launch in Napanee. We'll be departing at 6:30pm sharp so please come a bit early with your vessels to get unloaded.

If you haven't paddled this stretch of the river before you're in for a treat. It's relatively narrow, so it's never very rough. We'll be paddling east against the current so prepare for a bit of a workout. Our goal is to get to the 401 overpass but we'll see how we're feeling. Good news is the current will make things a lot easier on the way back.

After the paddle we'll vote to see which local establishment to visit for a beverage to celebrate the new season.

If you've never joined us before, we're a very casual group that gets together most every week to either paddle or hike. There's no membership fee, just come when you can. The first two months of our schedule is now published, take a look-see.
