We're back to paddle the Salmon River on August 4th

If you enjoy paddling undisturbed shoreline, you'll love it on the Salmon River. We hope you can join us on Thursday, August 4th at 6:30pm. We'll be gathering at the Roblin Boat Launch.

We visited this site in early June. It was a bit of a rainy day and although it ended up being a perfect evening for a paddle, the sketchy weather from earlier in the day kept quite a few folks away. We added it back to this week because we want more people to enjoy it.

This paddle is so appealing because as soon as you turn the first corner you'd swear you're in the middle of nowhere. The shoreline runs along mature trees with very few unnatural objects... maybe a couple docks but that's it.

What you do see is a lot of wildlife... turtles, frogs, herons, kingfishers and the opportunity to see much more!
